Company registration in Dubai from India — 2026 cost, LRS, FEMA

Indian-compliance sites own this SERP with ₹ conversions and LRS footnotes. Here is the UAE partner tariff side, plus what we will not pretend to file for you in India.

India side: LRS, FEMA, TCS — not our filing

If you are an Indian-resident individual paying a UAE licence from personal funds, banks typically treat that as Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) business, subject to the current RBI annual cap (USD 250,000 per financial year is the standing ceiling — confirm on the day with your Authorised Dealer). Purpose codes, Form A2, and any TCS on the remittance sit with the bank and your CA.

If an Indian company is investing in or setting up the UAE entity, that is usually an Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) question under FEMA — a different paperwork stack. Mixing LRS and ODI on a blog table is how founders get stuck at the AD bank.

CoreSpaces does not advise on Indian tax, TCS credit, or FEMA classification. We form the UAE company as an authorised multi-zone partner and tell you the AED lines in writing.

Business Setup services are provided by CoreSpaces L.L.C-FZ, licensed through Meydan Free Zone and acting as an authorised, non-exclusive channel partner of the free zone authorities it represents. Which zone suits you is confirmed during consultation. CoreSpaces L.L.C-FZ is a separate operating entity from CoreSpaces Realty LLC. Full entity breakdown.

What to budget besides the licence

  • Visa processing and establishment card if you need residence — see the hidden-costs guide.
  • One or two trips if you take a visa (medical / Emirates ID).
  • Bank minimum balances after the licence exists — approval is the bank’s, not the zone’s.
  • Property is a separate purchase. Corridor research: buying Dubai property from India on CoreSpaces Realty.

FAQ

How much does company registration in Dubai from India cost in 2026?

Partner-published year-one cores range from Ajman NuVentures Centre’s AED 4,888 base licence to IFZA’s 1-visa snapshot in the high teens. Add visa processing, establishment card, travel, and India-side remittance costs. Ads from AED 5,750 are usually another emirate’s licence-only line, not a Dubai 1-visa all-in.

Can I pay the Dubai licence from India under LRS?

Resident individuals in India commonly use the Liberalised Remittance Scheme for personal outward remittance, subject to the current RBI cap (USD 250,000 per financial year is the long-standing ceiling — confirm with your Authorised Dealer bank). Investing through an Indian company is a different FEMA route (ODI). We do not give Indian tax or FEMA advice.

Does TCS apply when I remit for a Dubai company?

TCS on LRS remittances is an India-side collection. Thresholds and rates change. Treat any blog percentage as stale until your bank and CA confirm the current Finance Act position. It affects cash flow even when it later credits against tax.

Do I need to fly to Dubai to incorporate?

Formation with our partner zones is typically remote. Residence-visa medical, biometrics, and Emirates ID are still in person if you take a visa.

Is mainland cheaper than a free zone from India?

Usually no at entry. Mainland adds office and DET process. Free zone is the default for a first UAE entity unless you must trade onshore with walk-in UAE customers.
